The PEAS lab had a daily diary protocol going on during the recent US presidential election. Here is just teeny tiny teaser peek at the data. Very interesting stuff in here! We're really looking forward to digging into the data........and yes, we asked about voting behavior and candidate support!
These are just a few interesting trends we noticed.
Stereotyped = How often they thought stereotypically about others.
Prep = How often they thought about preparing for a doomsday scenario
Conspira = How often they thought they were being watched for sinister purposes.
Participants were asked on a scale from 0% - 100% how likely is it that a God exists.
Note that higher scores on affect valence were positive.
If you are interested in getting your hands on this data, the PEAS lab is always looking for collaborators!
The PEAS lab, in conjunction with a number of other labs at the University of Essex, was leading a daily diary study, which occurred during the Brexit vote. Here is just a sneak peak at a small sample of the data. This figure is posted for the sake of interest.
This dataset consisted of approximately 93 people in the UK providing between 2 and 14 reports. The sample includes both international and UK citizens. The data presented is not complete and nor is it published. For curiosity only!
